Noune Karapetian's mission is to provide the best musical training possible to enrich her student's lives. She creates a nurturing environment where students of all ages learn music through the use of innovative, fun and creative methods. Her purpose is to challenge her students to set musical and personal goals, strive to be their best and have lots of fun in the process.
Noune was the founder and music director of Bell Music School and has been teaching private piano and voice lessons for many years, she has taught hundreds of students.
Noune has graduated from prestigious Komitas Conservatory in Armenia and has been teaching voice and piano since then. She is a member of VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainer's Association) and NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). Her professional credits include performances with Opera Boston, Granite State Opera, Pacific Repertory Opera, Chorus Pro Musica and others in leading roles.
Private lessons are offered to students ages 5 and up. Noune is patient, understanding, and encouraging.

Private Voice Lessons Teaching singing to children and adults ages 7 & up Children and adults who love to sing and sing all the time can get into bad singing habits like raising the head for high notes, bringing the jaw forward, or screaming. I take the obstacles and tensions away so the real, pure, unique voice can come out. It's all about the breath! Adults get a chance to express themselves creatively, get out of the singing in the shower mentality and feel the joy of just letting their voices ring freely. I have been taking voice lessons with Noune for three years. When I started, I only had four notes, and had a very hard time singing high notes. Now, I have two octaves, and high notes are easy for me. Singing has become easier and fun now, and I am a lot more confident in my voice. Before I started taking voice lessons with Noune, I had a nice mezzo voice and used to sing in a local chorus as an alto. My range was limited and I would easily run out of breath. Now I have much more control over my voice, can reach a high C and still use my chest with the lower notes. With Noune I am becoming more and more aware of how physical singing is, involving my whole body. As a teacher, Noune is both demanding and respectful of my learning pace.
